About the Program

The project-oriented Master's course in Industrial Design trains students in the methodical planning and implementation of transdisciplinary design processes as well as in teamwork and communication skills. Students can select from various project options, including cross-programme opportunities, to develop individual positions. The objective is to develop high and original concept and design competence, with the ability to create integrated and holistic design strategies in critical reflection with social, cultural, scientific, technological, economic, and ecological conditions. The program prepares graduates for a wide range of fields, creating optimal conditions for freelance design and consulting work as well as for responsible positions in companies and institutions. The course includes cooperation with other universities, research institutions, and partners from culture and business.
