Industrial Design

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

During the third semester of the Industrial Design Course at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts, students are confronted with current realities of industrial production and subsequently challenged to question and redesign them through design-led strategies. This goes hand in hand with the intensive process of acquiring relevant skills of analogue and digital construction, developing individual strategic design processes and understanding of consumption - locally and globally. Learning objectives include fluency in design and construction software, relevant representational techniques, both digital and prototyping, model making and photography. The foundation of an individual, professional pathway of practice is laid and manifested through intensive, applied projects.
