They have qualified knowledge about scientific planning, practical implementation, and statistical evaluation of audiological studies, principles of acoustics and (digital) signal and speech processing, and can use these in the development of audio systems (e.g., hearing aids, entertainment electronics, studio acoustics, telecommunications) or lead their implementation. The three-semester Master's program consists of 90 credit points (CP). The course content is delivered through modules of typically 6 or 12 credit points, completed in the first and second semesters. The program concludes with a six-month Master's thesis (30 CP) with a strong scientific focus. For Bachelor graduates without a Hearing Technology and Audiology bachelor's degree, a bridge semester is offered, typically extending the program to four semesters.
