Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

This dual study programme focuses on the diversity of the forest ecosystem as well as on the specific needs of the training company. During the seven semesters, students acquire knowledge in forest management, timber harvesting and logistics, forest planning, silviculture, forest growth science, soil and climate science, forest operations management and timber marketing, and forest and society. Students are employees of a forestry training company and complete the academic part alongside regular forestry students. Due to the higher number of practical phases, students acquire company-specific know-how and are immediately ready to work after completing their Bachelor's degree. The program includes practical phases during lecture-free periods and two three-month practical phases towards the end of studies.
