About the Program

The Bachelor's program in Engineering Science (ES) is an international and interdisciplinary program that provides students with the broadest possible basic knowledge of all central engineering disciplines. The program enables graduates to quickly familiarize themselves with new tasks from different areas and mediate between engineering disciplines. The program is structured with core subjects (about half of the curriculum), specializations (chosen after the first three semesters), a basic internship, a 12-week advanced internship, and a bachelor thesis in the 7th semester. The program requires a total of 210 credit points (CP) and offers 8 specialization options: Advanced Materials, Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management, Mechatronics, and Biomedical Engineering.
