Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

About the Program

The rapid pace of technological change and the increasing complexity of systems, plants, and devices demand both a solid foundation in science and technology and deep subject-specific expertise. The Interdisciplinary Engineering Sciences degree program offers both –without requiring you to commit to a specific field from the start. In the first two semesters, you will build a solid grounding in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology, preparing you for current and emerging technologies. During the third semester, orientation courses and a project help you explore potential focus areas and identify your interests. You will then select your specialization at the end of the third semester. Available specializations include: International Technical Cooperation, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering. From the fourth to seventh semester, you will deepen your expertise in your chosen specialization and gain hands-on experience with practical methods. In the final semester, you will complete an internship and write your bachelor's thesis, paving the way for your professional career.
