About the Program

This practice-oriented course prepares students for work as technically oriented industrial designers and/or developers of technical products involving design aspects. The Master of Arts in Engineering Design programme is intended for designers with technical skills and technicians with design skills. The Master's programme offers complementary courses for the fundamentals of design and fundamentals of technology. Students gain particular competencies in integrated product design, bionics and system design. These skills enable graduates to successfully develop sustainable industrial products in team environments. An instructional cooperation with the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and cooperation projects with companies help to round out the practically oriented programme. Areas of concentration include: Integrated product design, product development, system design, capital goods design, bionics design.
