Graduates in energy technology are experts in the energy transition. The secure and sustainable supply of heat, electricity, and fuels, as well as the efficient end-use of energy, are the key global issues of this century. Therefore, graduates are prepared to assume responsibility for developing sustainable technical concepts for the provision, distribution, and application of energy. As specialists, they actively shape the future of energy supply and develop viable solutions. Developing a sustainable energy supply requires systems thinking to unlock synergies while constantly weighing the technical, economic, and environmental aspects against each other. The program allows students to specialize in one of three areas: Energy Systems, Energy Economics & Energy Management, or Building Services Engineering/Building Services Technology. Each area of specialization focuses on different applications of a sustainable energy supply.
