The artistic-pedagogical bachelor's degree program in Elementary Music Education is particularly suitable for people who enjoy singing, making music, moving and dancing. An essential component is the occupation with diverse possibilities of artistic expression such as voice, body and instrument. The human being with his or her individual abilities and skills is always at the center of attention. The study of EMP at the HfM Würzburg is characterized by a high degree of practical relevance. From the beginning, students are familiarized with their future professional reality through supervision of model classes, where they actively get to know different target groups from infancy to late adulthood. Course content includes 'Movement, Body Education, Dance', 'Rhythm, Percussion, Ensemble', 'Voice Education' and 'Rhythmics'. With the bachelor's degree, students receive teaching qualification for elementary music making with different target groups as well as for the chosen minor subject (instrument or singing in classical or jazz).
