About the Program

Elementary Music Pedagogy (EMP) combines practice- and science-oriented pedagogical subjects with excellent artistic training. In a double degree program, students are trained in the main subject EMP and in their instrumental/vocal main subject, whereby classical instruments as well as jazz can be chosen. The course enables graduates to be artistically active and, through the interplay of instrumental pedagogy and EMP, opens up a wide range of careers in music schools, public schools, independent organizations, cultural institutions and freelance work.
