About the Program

Three countries, one degree program: The content of the Bachelor's program 'Electrical Engineering and Information Technology' is taught in two languages - French and German - and opens up a diverse field of work for graduates, not only in the tri-border region of Germany, Switzerland, and France. Studies take place at the university locations of Haguenau (France), Neuchâtel (Switzerland), and Offenburg. In the first year of study in France, students acquire basic knowledge needed later in their studies. The first two semesters serve particularly for orientation. From the second year onwards, in-depth electrical and information technology content is taught, such as communication technology, circuit design, or signal processing. In the third year, students must choose one of two specializations for further knowledge deepening: Automated Systems or Embedded Systems. The study period is 3.5 years. All students are enrolled at Offenburg University in Germany, IUT Haguenau in France, and Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
