About the Program

The Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering trains technically interested and mathematically gifted students in recognized engineering fundamentals and imparts specialist knowledge. The program focuses on how to generate, store, transport, and efficiently use electrical energy in various technical, mobile, and networked systems. Current issues of resource conservation and clean energy generation are a particular focus in Kassel. During the six-semester course, students are taught application-oriented and theoretical specialist knowledge, practical skills, and the basics of scientific work. From the fifth semester onwards, students focus on specialized areas including: Automated Systems, E-Mobility, Electrical Energy Systems, Electronics and Photonics, Information Technology, and Smart Sensor Systems. The majority of courses are accompanied by practicals in laboratories or independent student teamwork.
