About the Program

The science-oriented Electrical Engineering and Information Technology master's programme comprises four semesters. It develops knowledge and skills, qualifies students for complex research and development work or doctoral studies and expands leadership skills. The programme builds on existing competences in electrical engineering and information technology and enables intensive research in chosen fields of specialisation from the first semester onwards. Fields of specialisation include: Automation Technology, Electrical Power Engineering, Communications and Information Technology, and Microelectronics. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology aims to optimise career prospects and prepare students for academic work by teaching methodological skills and additional subject-specific knowledge.
