About the Program

In this distance learning course, technical innovative spirit is combined with relevant management skills. The students acquire business management skills in order to be able to successfully deal with future requirements of an already practiced engineering job and to be able to enter new business fields of activity. In addition to know-how about flexible manufacturing techniques and the Internet of Things, they acquire knowledge about big data and digital business models. This interdisciplinary and practice-oriented know-how enables the graduates to take up a key position in the economy. In addition to technical qualifications, conceptual, methodological and social qualifications are also the focus of the training. Thus, the students qualify to successfully lead and manage projects related to digital transformation in companies. The aim of the course is to train graduates who are able to combine their existing specialist skills with knowledge from the engineering sciences. They are able to analyze and design operational tasks and solve them with the help of current scientific knowledge.
