About the Program

University training in dentistry begins with basic science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, etc.) and initial propaedeutic courses in dentistry. After the first section of the dental examination, the 'phantom year' follows, where students learn dental skills on a phantom head. After completing the second section of the dental examination, students treat patients under intensive guidance and supervision in various courses as part of standard care over 4 semesters. The program is practice- and patient-oriented as well as scientifically based. The ultra-modern phantom course room has 40 workstations with multimedia equipment for training on phantom heads. The Student Innovation and Training Center for Dentistry (SINUZ) enables students to train and improve their practical skills outside of lectures.
