About the Program

Computer scientists solve problems! This program combines problem-solving skills with specialization and internationalization. The deepening of technological skills using cutting edge technology goes hand in hand with the teaching of scientific methods. For specialization, students can choose from the following tracks: Edge Computing, Smart Manufacturing, Machine Learning, and Scientific Computing. Three core modules (Computer Systems, Advanced Software Engineering, Mobile Computing) are mandatory for all students. Students can choose one of four tracks, in which at least five modules must be taken. The degree program takes three semesters (90 ECTS credits). 15 ECTS credits are earned in the three core modules, five modules (25 ECTS credits) must be completed in the chosen specialization track, and four modules (20 ECTS credits) can be freely chosen. The program concludes with the master's thesis, which takes six months (30 ECTS credits).
