About the Program

The Master's degree programme in Computer Science provides students with additional, in-depth, scientifically sound concepts, methods and techniques of computer science after a first professionally qualifying university degree in a relevant subject. The Master's programme makes graduates generalists in computer science - and at the same time specialists in a subject area that they can choose freely according to their personal interests. H-BRS offers a wide range of specialisations including Cyber Physical Systems, Data Science, Komplexe Software-Systeme, Netze und Virtualisierung, Visual Computing, and Wirtschaftsinformatik. The programme is characterised by individual supervision, guidance towards independent scientific work and interdisciplinary cooperation in research and development projects. After successful completion, students are awarded the internationally recognised academic degree of Master of Science, which entitles the holder to a doctorate and prepares them for specialist and management positions in industry, business, administration, research and development.
