About the Program

The program provides advanced knowledge in computer science and in the focus and application subjects. Compared to the Bachelor's program, which is foundation and method-oriented, the Master's program is research-oriented. In particular, the Master's degree enables independent scientific work and lays the foundations for further development of the subject. Students can choose between four application areas: Distributed, Reliable Systems; Intelligent Technical Systems and Scientific Computing; Interactive and Cooperative Systems; Information Engineering. There are numerous options within each application area. Students acquire the ability to overview comprehensive technical contexts, analyze problems, and develop scientific methods and findings for their solution. In addition to methodological knowledge and problem-solving skills, interdisciplinarity is also promoted.
