About the Program

Computer Science as the leading science of information technology deals with all aspects of systematic and automatic processing, storage and transmission of data. The degree program covers practical, theoretical, technical and applied Computer Science as well as basic Mathematics. An important pillar is didactics, which prepares students for teaching computer science. The program includes a five-month school placement semester in the fifth or sixth semester. Students will study two subjects on an equal footing and complete an accompanying program in Educational Science. The program does not require prior programming skills but expects students to explore systems, structures and contexts independently.
