About the Program

The Master's degree programme in Business Information Systems systematically builds bridges between the different disciplines of computer science, business administration and business information systems as well as other fundamentals (e.g. from the field of mathematics) in accordance with the framework recommendation of the German Informatics Society. The program is based on the pillars of computer science, business administration and business informatics, whereby a sound knowledge of IT is already required at the start of the programme. This knowledge is systematically combined and expanded for the domain-specific development of modern information systems. The degree programme can be individually tailored with a wide range of compulsory elective subjects. Due to the particular needs of the Landshut region, specialisations in the areas of 'Production and Logistics' and 'Services and Administration' have been developed.
