About the Program

The degree programme in Aviation Systems Engineering and Management offers four thematic specialisations. In partnership with experienced companies, students are trained to become commercial aircraft pilots, air traffic safety engineers, airport operations engineers or maintenance engineers. The programme has two main specialisations: 'Operations (ILST-B)' aimed at pilots or future pilots who want an academic degree alongside their pilot's license, and 'Production and Maintenance (ILST-HI)' which focuses on knowledge required for design, production, maintenance and repair of aircraft, including both aviation engineering and business management modules. The first four semesters cover basics in natural sciences and engineering before students choose their specialisation.
