About the Program

Art Education (M.Ed.) is a joint degree programme offered by Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle (BURG) and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). This four-semester Master's degree programme provides both academic and pedagogical qualifications for Art Education at secondary schools and the 'Gymnasium' (grammar school). Graduates of artistic-creative degree programmes (Art, Design, Architecture) receive a solid foundation for career-oriented further qualification in the preparatory service through the Master's degree programme.
