Which study programmes in Germany can I apply to with a 4-year mathematics degree from Turkey?
With a 4-year mathematics degree from Turkey you can generally apply not only to mathematics, but also to related, mathematics-based programmes in Germany, for example in:
- engineering,
- computer science,
- economics,
- other fields with a strong mathematical foundation.
This applies to both Bachelor's and Master's programmes.
What decides admission
- The subject-specific prerequisites of the programme: the admissions committee checks whether your courses match what the programme expects.
- The language requirements of the programme (German or English, depending on the language of instruction).
Caveat: a mathematics degree does not open every related programme automatically. Each programme decides on the basis of its own requirements.
For exact information on how your degree is assessed and what the admission requirements are, contact uni-assist or the international office of the universities you are interested in.
