Are certificates from private institutions recognized in Germany?
Certificates you get from private institutions in Germany, like IT certifications, are generally not considered the same as a state-issued diploma or degree. Because of this, they won't go through a formal recognition process by the ZAB (Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen), which is the Central Office for Foreign Education. These types of certificates definitely show your professional competence, but they don't provide official educational equivalency.
