How do student loans work in Germany?

✓ Answered · 1 min read · Community · 130 views

Unlike in the US, student loans for higher education aren't very common in Germany. Most students fund their studies through family support or part-time jobs. However, there are government support programs available for students from low-income families, such as BAföG.
