How do you find a shared student apartment (WG) in Germany?
Using online platforms is common for finding a shared student apartment, known as a WG (Wohngemeinschaft), in Germany. Housemates typically prefer to meet potential candidates for in-person interviews. It can be more effective to arrange short-term accommodation (like a hostel or Airbnb) for your initial arrival in Germany and then continue your search once you're on the ground.
