Getting a Bildungsgutschein (an education voucher) from the Arbeitsamt (employment office) when you're unemployed in Germany can be a challenging process. Generally, you'll need to convincingly demonstrate that you're actively looking for work and that the education will significantly boost your chances of finding a job. If you voluntarily left your previous job, it might be even harder to qualify for this kind of support.
