Master of Science in Information Systems

Master

Über das Programm

This degree programme offers you: Best job opportunities through specialisation: You can choose one of three majors before you start your studies and thus build up a clear professional profile. You can choose from the following three future-oriented majors: "Managing Digital Business", "Business Process Management" and "Data Science". Flexibility and interdisciplinary networking: The majors are supplemented by elective courses. They cover the entire spectrum of Information Systems and allow you to choose pure Business Administration or Computer Science courses at the Department of Computer Science. This allows you to further hone your profile or expand it individually. A good start together: With our new orientation module "Information Systems Thinking", we welcome you to the University of Münster. You will get to know your fellow students, find out more about the content and further organisation of the course and gain the confidence that you have chosen the right course of study for yourself with the Master's in Information Systems. A perfect combination of science and practice: In our seminars, you will learn about scientific work at the institute. The topics are newly generated each semester and are therefore always at the cutting edge of research. Our project seminars offer you concrete insights into practice through cooperation with companies and you can make important initial contacts for your career start. Both seminars and project seminars take place in small groups to provide you with individual support. Open doors worldwide: The programme is taught exclusively in English. The third semester can also be used as a mobility window in which you can complete a semester at one of the approx. 75 foreign universities partnering with the School of Business & Economics. You will receive support from the personal advice offered by our school's own International Relations Center. A high level of satisfaction: Whether it's the general study situation, courses offered, practical orientation or the transition to the Master's degree course – our Master's programme receives top ratings in the current CHE ranking. Many criteria are rated as very good or good by more than 90% of our Master's students, e.g. the opportunities for individual subject specialisation, support with questions and problems, digital teaching elements and the ability to present and discuss research results.
