Berlin From Winter Until Spring: University Winter Course

Summer School

Über das Programm

Live in Germany and Experience Life and Culture in Berlin! Our intensive language courses are perfect for applicants to German-speaking university programmes or professionals who need to use German in their careers. Our classes not only teach grammar and writing but also help you converse fluently. Additionally, you will broaden your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and enhance your written and oral skills. From the very first lesson, you will be immersed in German, hearing and speaking only the language. Courses consist of approximately 25 lessons per week (one lesson = 45 minutes), i.e. 100 lessons (four-week course) or 150 lessons (six-week course). Each course includes exams to award you an IIK Language Certificate of Proficiency based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) with the level achieved between A1 to C1. We offer free additional services such as tutored homework, self-study with AI-driven assistants and free conversation groups. Naturally, we train all skills in our courses — with a curriculum designed to prepare you for university entrance exams like TestDaF, DSH, and telc C1 Hochschule. We place great emphasis on communication and a solid foundation in grammar, which will be beneficial in any highly qualified job. (TestDaF, DSH, and telc C1 Hochschule can be booked separately.) Enjoy the latest classroom technology with virtual classrooms, interactive whiteboards, and fast, free Wi-Fi for all students — the internet and the world (and your family and friends) are at your fingertips both in and out of class. Welcome to Berlin! With us, you'll quickly improve your language skills and discover many exciting new aspects of German culture and the capital city. You can also choose to combine your courses in Berlin and Düsseldorf, studying in two cities over two months. Find more information at www.iik-deutschland.de.
