The international Bachelor's programme Automation and Industrial Internet of Things (BSc Electrical Engineering /EEB) at Technische Hochschule Mannheim guarantees significant practical relevance.  You can expect a multifaceted degree that combines electrical engineering, instrumentation, sensors and programming.  You are going to do a lot of hands-on labs and projects, with close links to local companies in Germany. Automation and IoT is about developing new production sites that meet customer needs in a flexible way and that are safe in the case of failure. You will learn that connectivity via Internet as well as data security are vital. Industry 4.0 and IoT are important topics in automation technology. Development in these areas is fast and it is important for German companies to maintain a leading position. You can expect classes with: a lot of practical activity state-of-the-art laboratories individual support and small teaching groups close contact with local industrial partners interesting content, future-oriented projects and a lot of fun. Career fields and opportunities: Graduates of electrical engineering are highly sought after. Electrical engineers are irreplaceable in important areas such as mobility, sustainable use of our resources, intelligent networks, and secure production systems.  Future careers varied, such as project management in technical development, production, and also in sales. Many follow a career in management.  You do not have to make a decision about which area you will specialise in. You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with a number of companies and fields of work. Upon completion of this degree, you will be well prepared for the job market and can work as an engineer in future technical areas. Both the pay and the career outlook are good. Our students will participate in a multilateral course of studies.
